Cochise College women’s basketball loses a tough battle at home 42-53 to Arizona Western College. It was the tale of two halves. In the first half, Cochise got a few solid stops and was executing at the offensive end. Then the lady Apaches went through a drought in the second half as Arizona Western started to make a run. Arizona Western picked up the pressure and began to create turnovers which would give them the momentum. In the second half, the Matadors outscored Cochise 39-18.
