DOUGLAS — The Cochise College soccer team won its home opener Thursday, 1-0 over Scottsdale Community College.
Mariel Hundley scored the Apaches’ goal, assisted by Brooke Madden, in the first half and Cochise held on for the win to improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Apaches play again at home Saturday, Aug. 30, against Mesa, followed by another home game Tuesday, Sept. 2, against South Mountain.
Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
