Coulter Bowlen signing a National Letter of Intent

Sophomore forward Coulter Bowlen signed a National Letter of Intent with Hope International University (NAIA), which is located in Fullerton, CA.

The Port Jefferson Station, New York native transferred to Cochise after spending a year at Arizona Christian. Bowlen helped Cochise to a 23-8 overall record, which is the 3rd-best finish in school history. She earned Third-Team ACCAC and Second-Team All-Region 1 honors by averaging 8.7 points a game on shooting 50% from the field and 5.7 rebounds a game.

“I chose Hope because I felt like the coaches believe in me and will bring out the best of me as a player. As for the school, the academics are great, they have small classes, and they have my major (psychology),” said Bowlen.

After being recruited by San Diego Christian, Alaska Fairbanks, Queens College, and Talledega College, Bowlen said: “when I went on my visit, I knew that was where I wanted to go because when I first got to the campus, I felt comfortable.”

We all are extremely proud of Coulter and wish her nothing but success as she takes the next step of her journey.
