The Cochise College men’s basketball team is seeded 24th in the NJCAA Division I national championship tournament, held in Hutchinson, Kan. The Apaches open play Monday at noon (central time) against No. 9-seeded Vincennes University of Indiana.

The Apaches are 23-10 overall and were 13-9 in conference play this season. Cochise defeated Mesa on March 2 to claim the Region I title and fell just shy of beating College of Southern Idaho in the District I championship game on March 7, falling 65-63.
