CHANDLER — The Cochise College women’s soccer team dropped a heartbreaker to Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Thursday, 1-0.
The teams were scoreless after the first half. Chandler-Gilbert’s goal came in the 52nd minute by Molly Celler.
Cochise totaled 10 shots in the game to Chandler-Gilbert’s 11, and Danielle Dunn made eight saves for the Apaches, who are now 7-4 on the season heading into Saturday’s game at Glendale.
Cochise returns home Oct. 3 against Pima Community College for a 2 p.m. matchup at Bujalski Track and Field Complex, next to Barnes Field House, on Fort Huachuca.
Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
