NACO — The Cochise College soccer team traveled to Naco Elementary School on April 26 as part of the numerous community service projects it supports during the year.
The Apaches, along with several other Cochise College students, shared information about Earth Day with the young public school students.
“We shared time with the kids as they got their faces painted, made solar ovens, were attacked by the bag monster, raised awareness of recycling and participated in a scavenger hunt,” said Cochise head coach Andrea Daniels. “Our community’s youth is so important and we dedicate our time every semester to spend time with different elementary schools, spread the word about college and share in physical activity.”
