Journey and Coldplay combine with dance arrangements and classical greats in SpringSong, Cochise College choral ensembles’ end-of-semester concert series.
The Cochise College Bi-National Chorus, Sierra Vista Chamber Choir, and the Bisbee Women’s Ensemble join with college choral students, under the direction of Melanie Gemond and Lori Keyne, for concerts in Douglas, Bisbee and Sierra Vista. The concerts feature uplifting songs ranging from 12th-century Hildegard von Bingen to classical greats Bach, Handel and Mozart, to American spirituals, dance and popular arrangements by the Chordettes, Journey and Coldplay.
Admission is free at the following concerts:
- Wednesday, April 27, 7 p.m., Douglas Campus, Little Theatre
- Friday, May 6, 7 p.m., St. John’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 19 Sowles Ave., Old Bisbee
- Sunday, May 8, 3 p.m., St. Andrew’s Church, Kino Hall, 900 Taylor Ave., Sierra Vista
