For over 20 years, the Creative Writing Celebration has brought together published writers, from poetry and novels to creative nonfiction, juvenile fiction, and screenwriting, to present hands-on workshops to aspiring writers in the community.
One of the most anticipated events in Cochise County, organizers of the Creative Writing Celebration announced they would not host the event in 2023.
“We are exploring ways to enhance the event and make it more accessible,” said Celebration Director Alex O’Meara. “We are looking into using new technology and other available means so more people throughout the County can have an opportunity to participate and enjoy the event.”
Charitable gifts are an important component in advancing the excellence of the Creative Writing Celebration. Contributions help cover expenses, student registrations and prizes. Contributions are tax-deductible.
