The Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning‘s Brown Bag Lecture Series is presented each semester at the college’s campuses and centers. Weekly free lectures and presentations offer attendees the opportunity to hear fascinating stories and learn about a wide array of topics in a no-pressure environment.
Benson Center lectures have concluded for the semester, but they continue to be offered every other Tuesday at the Douglas Government Center, located at 1012 N. G Ave., and Wednesdays at the Sierra Vista Campus in room 702. All lectures are from 12:10 to 1 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch.
• “Things with Wings” – Wednesday, April 9, Sierra Vista Campus, room 702
Pam Mowbray-Graeme will talk about how bees, bats and butterflies all take to the skies on a mission to pollinate plants and get food. Learn about their biology and natural history to better understand the role pollinators play in our environment.
