The Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning‘s Brown Bag Lecture Series is presented each semester at the college’s campuses and centers. Weekly free lectures and presentations offer attendees the opportunity to hear fascinating stories and learn about a wide array of topics in a no-pressure environment.
This semester, lectures are presented on Mondays at the Benson Center, every other Tuesday at the Douglas Government Center, located at 1012 N. G Ave., and Wednesdays at the Sierra Vista Campus in room 702. All lectures are from 12:10 to 1 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch.

• “A Peace Corps Volunteer” – Monday, Feb. 24, Benson Center
Sarah Swenson couldn’t change the world, but as a volunteer in the Peace Corps for four and half years, Swenson had the opportunity to affect each person she contacted. With an open mind and an ambition to save the world, Swenson left a life she had known for one she knew very little about. She embraced her new life and is excited to share some of her life-changing experiences.

• “East Africa Photography” – Wednesday, Feb. 26, Sierra Vista Campus, room 702
View images from Bob Luce’s 12-day photography safari in Kenya and Tanzania. The tour covered 1,275 road miles and was led by Tucson wildlife photographer Tom Whetten. Stops included Nairobi National Park, Arusha National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, and the Masai Mara River Preserve.
