The Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning‘s Brown Bag Lecture Series is presented each semester at the college’s campuses and centers. Weekly free lectures and presentations offer attendees the opportunity to hear fascinating stories and learn about a wide array of topics in a no-pressure environment.

This semester, lectures are presented on Mondays at the Benson Center, Tuesdays at the Douglas Government Center, located at 1012 N. G Ave., and Wednesdays at the Sierra Vista Campus in room 702. All lectures are from 12:10 to 1 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch.

• “Geoff Oldfather”
Monday, Oct. 28, Benson Center
Geoff Oldfather is the Communications and Public Relations Manager for Arizona’s G&T Cooperatives, which owns and operates Apache Generating Station at Cochise. Mr. Oldfather will discuss the company’s perspective on reducing greenhouse gases, expanding renewable energy and reducing regional haze.

Tuesday, Oct. 29, Douglas Government Center
Ramona MacMurtrie, Health Insurance Coordinator for SEAGO, will discuss the changes in Medicare – Medicaid and address enrollment options.

• “Medicare and Medicaid”
Wednesday, Oct. 30, Sierra Vista Campus, room 702
Medicare and Medicaid open enrollment is October through December. Bob Storti, who has over 30 years of experience in health care, will explain coverage options and address questions.
