Cochise is 22-4 this season and ranked 15th in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association Division I poll. The Apaches have four games left in the regular season, starting with rival Arizona Western on Wednesday in Yuma.

“Its good for our players and our program to be recognized nationally in the polls,” Carrillo said. “Our guys have honored the process very well, meaning they have worked hard and prepared well for games and that had work has paid off. But we have four regular season games left and we really need to focus in and take care of business.”
