YUMA — The Cochise College women’s soccer team fell to Arizona Western College on Thursday, 3-1.
The loss is Cochise’s fifth straight and drops the Apaches to 10-9 heading into their regular-season finale Saturday at home on the Douglas Campus against South Mountain. The Sophomore Day matchup starts at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
Despite their recent slump, the Apaches are set to host Arizona Western to open the Region I Tournament. Game time is 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Douglas Campus. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids and free for children under 12. Cochise College students are admitted free with their student ID.
