In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Cochise College’s historical display is now on view at the Copper Queen Library, offering visitors a glimpse through the college’s history. The exhibit, composed of six banners strategically placed throughout the library, highlights significant milestones and growth over the decades.

The Copper Queen Library, which was recognized as the Best Small Library in America in 2019 and the 2024 recipient of the National Medal for Museum and Library Service, provides the perfect backdrop for this unique showcase. Located at 6 Main Street in the heart of Bisbee, the library offers a welcoming atmosphere for history and learning.

Visitors can also participate in a historical Scavenger Hunt, guiding them through the display as they uncover Cochise College’s past. The Copper Queen Library is open to the public during these days and times:

    Mondays & Tuesdays: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

    Wednesdays through Fridays: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

    Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
